I woke up with the blessing
of a new day
knowing that you love me,
my God,
You are my sun,
you are the light of my heart.
you relieve me if I have burdens..
Though I have failed you are still with me,
you show me your kindness,
you give me the warmth of your love.
Thank God for being so special
for giving me the courage to live and share,
you are the hope of my soul,
with you I am able to pursue challenges,
you guide me, you give me encouragement
to raise wings as eagles;
to wait on you.
That from morning to evening
may I see your promises fulfilled.
I love you and always will.
